ONE Board Site Representative, Hyde Park - Woodlawn

Gabe (they/them) is a dedicated member of the Hyde Park-Woodlawn community. Gabe is a ONE Board Site Representative and Staff-Parish Relations Committee Member. As a proud pup-parent and family-oriented individual, Gabe cherishes the sense of belonging that comes from being part of UVC. The church’s unique location at an intersection allows it to foster a supportive and evolving community, encouraging everyone on their journey, no matter where they are. Gabe’s goals for the site are to create a welcoming space where people feel seen, supported, and inspired to grow together, while also caring for paid staff by ensuring clear, just, and accountable systems of employment. Additionally, Gabe is committed to nurturing and supporting members in the process of ministry formation within the United Methodist Church. In free time, Gabe enjoys climbing, hiking, kayaking, and just about any outdoor adventure. Gabe’s favorite locations are Jackson Park Harbor and Big Marsh Park.
